波止場は静まり返っていた。早朝か夕方か判別がつかない真っ青な世界。船着き場に2艘の舟が一日の仕事を終えて眠りについていた。
The wharf was hushed. It was a world of deep blue where one could not tell whether it was early morning or evening. Two boats lay at the landing, asleep after the day's work.
