私はバンクーバー生まれ、サンフランシスコ育ちの東京在住のアーティストです。 都会の中での生活の傍ら、自然に対する情感を創作の源泉としています。心から描きたい絵を描き続けることを使命と感じ、形や枠にとらわれない生の情感をキャンバスに映し出すことで、絵画だけでなく、自由な表現の可能性を広げたいと思っています。私の尊敬する松井守男の言葉にもあるよう、”本当に素晴らしいアートは宇宙を感じ、自然を感じることができる”という言葉が私のアートにおける信条にもなっています。

I am an artist born in Vancouver, raised in San Francisco, and living in Tokyo. Alongside my urban life, I draw inspiration from my feelings for nature. I cherish the everyday nature and seasonal changes that I have seen, from the port towns of the West Coast to the dense landscapes of Tokyo, and the emotions that arise from them.

I feel it is my mission to keep painting what I want to paint from my heart. By reflecting raw emotions that are not bound by shapes or frames on the canvas, I want to expand the possibilities of expression not only in painting, but also in freedom.

As Morio Matsui said, “Truly wonderful art can feel the universe and nature”, which is also my creed in art.
