9月の夕暮れ時、しきりに羽虫を食べたあと、塒に向かって飛び立つモズです。
Flying in the Dusk ー Bull-headed Shrike
It was a very humid afternoon in September and swarms of small winged insects appeared as the sun began to set. Bull-headed shrikes were everywhere around the hedges to collect the easy ‘supper’.
This bull-headed shrike had spent well over 10 minuts hopping and springing from its twig to catch the insects before it flew to its nest.
